The problem has been that the
software or loader indicates that there is no connection or a bad connection to receiver.
If this is a known good cable, then the problem is internal to your fta receiver.
What has happened is that there is a static sensative IC that receives the signals from
your pc and this has been damaged internally. These are very small surface mount
devices, and typically require some very good smt soldering skills.
If this is the case, your
receiver should still be operational, but not able to accept any new firmware flashes?
We can effectively make this replacement and also solder a real pin header for
future jtag requirements if needed at the same time.
