Go to W-5 channel 603, then  confirm as color bar display..Motorola has issued a procedure to convert your 4DTV receiver to access the new system. 

The following procedure will leave all satellites in memory, as well as add the X4 designator for W5 satellite reception.

1. First confirm that your system is working properly prior to January 4th.

2. Call up Satellite W5 to Channel 603. Hold the Console Power button IN for 3 seconds and release. Leave on W5-603 for at least 10 minutes. The time on the front of the receiver will be displayed during this time.

3. After you have waited at least 10 minutes, press Options 6-4-4, select the X4 satellite name, and press ENTER.

4. Exit out, press the blue SAT button and select the X4 satellite. Confirm that you have audio from the DMX channels on 900-941.

5. Disable "Allow dish moving for updates" by pressing Options

6-4-1 and selecting NO.

6. Call 1-800-432-8876 or send an E-mail to srlpc@srlcd.com to get authorization or a re-hit anytime after 2:00 p.m. EST Jan. 4th.
